Kate's nursery

Our new favorite room in the house is Kate's nursery. It took a while to decide what how we wanted to decorate her room since I am not big on pink. After I found some fabric, everything else in the room was designed around it...or with it. I was wanting a room that was relaxing, beachy and blue (ha. We love blue at our house).
The rocker and crib were from Aubrey's nursery.
This is the best photo of the paint color in the room.
The art work (above) is framed fabric from the material used in the bunting banner (below).
The bunting banner was made with the material also. I asked Seth's grandmother, Mom Bond, if she would create the banner for me since she (and Pop Bond) did such an awesome job on Aubrey's. I LOVE the way they turned out and means so much more that she made them.
I also used the material to make rosettes to put on the lamp shade. I still want to hang something from the drift wood we hung in the corner (think mobile?). The room is still a work in progress...
Seth's mom painted a canvas for Aubrey's nursery so I thought artwork that doubled as a door hanger would be perfect when she asked to make something for Kate. She used the patterns on the material and rug in the room to make it. I love how it turned out!
And here is a peak at Miss Kate in her bed! More about this sweet girl soon!
