What a month it has been! Kate has been doing so many "big girl" things. She is standing up like a champ, eating some table foods, and taking teeny-tiny steps here and there.

Since Kate went to her 9 month check up, the doctor suggested I give her some of the foods we are eating. This is hard for me to do since she has NO teeth (ugh...teething is about to drive us all bonkers) but we have tried a few things like pancakes, pork chops, potatoes and hamburger (all finely shredded). She mows it down every time! This girl likes to eat! She still takes a bottle 3-4 times a day as well as baby foods.

Naps have been great. One in the morning and one in the afternoon. I'm so thankful they have been napping at the same time in the afternoons. This is usually when I get stuff done and/or shower. The month of July we taught Sunday School at church so we had to be there earlier than normal which means Kate missed her morning nap. She loves playing with the other children and gives up her nap to socialize. She does well missing her nap, as far as attitude goes, and immediately falls asleep in the car. On Sunday afternoons, she usually sleeps all afternoon :)
One of Kate's favorite activities this summer has been going to story time at the library. They sing several songs and she just lights up when the room starts singing!
Love this cutie!!
