I definitely think I am carrying her differently. Aubrey was high, as they say, and didn't really poke out but she is already low and pointing straight out (at least that is how I feel!).

This girl is a mover, kicker, karate chopper, jump roper, or bicycler. I feel her all. the. time. And I'm talking about hard, punching bag movements. With Aubs, it was just a big motion or nudge every now and then. Because of her constant activity, Seth has been able to feel her a good bit. There have been times when I'm holding Aubrey or the iPad and she will kick them. Aubrey doesn't react but the iPad will move! I wonder if this means she is going to be feisty??
I have been feeling well but have no extra energy at the end of the day to bake, craft, blog, or do fun things I'd like to do. I have had a hard time staying hydrated and as a result had a few painful episodes of contractions that have gone away with a little extra H2O and rest. Since it is summer and I'm chasing Aubs all day, I feel like I need to keep a Camelbak strapped to me 24/7. But, thankfully, there are no signs of preterm labor at this point.
Nesting has begun. Seth and I have been good and not bought much for Kate, yet (except those three dresses Seth picked up from Tar-jay)....I think that has something to do with it. I'm itching to get paint on the walls and furniture, order her bedding, artwork, and rug... and get it all situated. I FINALLY decided on the color scheme and overall design of the room. I think I was about to drive Seth crazy with my indecisiveness. One day it was this, the next it was that. One thing is for sure....we will have another blue room in our house! ha This will make five of the rooms in our house some shade of blue. I just couldn't handle NOT using blue! I'm NOT a pink girl but have actually come to a point where I am using a little pink in the room (I'm hoping I won't regret it!).
Here is a sneak peak at a piece of furniture I bought at an estate sale for her room. We finally decided to repaint it ourselves, instead of having someone else refinish it, so we are hoping our Annie Sloan Chalk Paint will work wonders for us (fingers crossed)! Stay tuned for the after!
Aubrey still does not understand that he is about to have a little sister. He did start saying "big brother" just the other day with the help of his buddy Calliou singing a silly song about being a big brother. He no longer calls her "Cake" but will use her actual name when we ask him to. :)
Seth and I are SO excited about meeting our baby girl. Every time we go for an ultrasound, I'm shocked to hear it is still a girl! ha

I am jealous of this dresser! I looked for Charlotte a dresser like this to paint but had to somewhat settle. Can't wait to see what you do!! And as for Kate, I just love her sweet name and look forward to seeing her room!
