A few of our favorite things....

We have been enjoying our family time before we transition to a family of five!!!! These are a few things I want to remember about life the past month or so...

Seth's favorite thing right now is golfing! He plays with "Uncle Ben" any opportunity he gets. Hunting ducks is another but he hasn't had as many opportunities to go this season. He took Aubrey on his first deer hunt a few weeks ago and they had a blast (I think my dad had the most fun of all having his only grandson out in the woods with him!)! 

Aubrey's favorite thing is wrestling (rastling) or "getting busted up" by his Dad. Any time Seth comes home, his first response is, "hey Dad! I want to get busted UP!" This usually takes place on our bed. Kate likes to get in on the action too. This is all new to me since I did not grow up in a house with boys.

Kate's favorite things are taking a bath, eating, dancing, and being outside. At her one year checkup (that was a few months late because we have had one illness after another since her one year birthday), Kate was 24lbs and 90th%tile for her height and weight! Needless to say she has a good appetite and enjoys meal time. She eats pretty much whatever we give her-meat, fruit, vegetables, etc. She is also a messy eater and requires a bath after all meals dinner every night. When we say it's time for bath, she smiles and takes off for the bathroom. We have to be ready to put her in the tub or she will try to climb in all by herself! 

Any time the door opens, Kate takes a run for it! She LOVES to be outside no matter the weather. She likes to play on brother's truck and four wheeler as well as the wagon. Digging in the dirt and tasting it is fun. She likes to "golf", hit the baseball off the tee stand, and run after balls (pretty much anything she sees brother do). 

This girl is a dancing queen! We have had quite a few dance parties often at our house lately. Aubrey enjoys attempting the "stinky leg" while Kate claps, bounces and kick/stomps. Maybe a future in river dance?  Wish my video would upload so I could share the moves...

And her last favorite thing to do is smile! I think the caption "smiling's my favorite" is appropriate! Love this sweet girl!

 

And my favorite thing is being Mommy to these two kiddos! Love them so!
