I'm not sure if it's the fact that I am a mom or that I just celebrated ten years since my high school graduation (i.e. I'm getting old!) but I have been evaluating my fashion and wardrobe choices lately. You see, I feel like I am losing pace (to be real honest that happened a long time ago or I was never up to speed probably!) and I don't want to fall too far behind.
So a while back, I came across this site. It claims to offer you a personal stylist who hand picks clothes and accessories for you to try on according to your style, shape, size, lifestyle and even budget! How cool is that?! It is super convenient because you fill out a survey and then they ship a box to your doorstep! Each "fix" comes with five items-clothes, jewelry and/or other accessories. For a mom or someone who doesn't feel confident shopping for the latest trends, this service is awesome! It's like getting a present in the mail! A little treat for me since I don't have a lot of time to spend shopping.
Are you curious to see what was in my box?! Well, I took some pictures to show you. This was really uncomfortable for me to do but I just wanted to give you an idea of how well the clothes fit and the style they matched me with. Which, by the way, I feel they were spot on with my style preferences. I would have definitely picked these things to try on at a store. Side note: I am not a photographer or a stylist. I took these pictures on a whim and did not care to "match". Again, I just wanted to give you an idea of what was in the box.
First up,
The cotton chambray blouse. This was my favorite thing to find in the box. Due to my build, it's hard to find a button up blouse that fits my broad shoulders and shape so I was pleasantly surprised how well it fit.
I also received one piece of jewelry in my box. I really liked this fun accessory (I wore it in the pic above too).
Rugby stripe cotton cardi. This was to small but I thought it was cute.
Each item comes with a suggestion card on how to wear the item of clothing.
I couldn't get a good picture of this shirt on but it was cute and comfy...just not flattering around my post partum midsection.
There are several other details that are great but I'll let you go over to their site to read more about it!
What do you think? Have you heard of Stitch Fix? Want to get your fix? You should try it out and let me know what you think! Go get your fix with Stitch Fix! ;)
PS. In case you are wondering, I bought one thing. Can you guess what it was?
The chambray shirt.

How fun is this?! I'm not always up on the latest trends, nor do I always love them. I have often wished someone would just pick out new clothes for me. I love to shop, but the Target clearance section with two little boys just isn't doing it for me anymore! Thanks for sharing - I'm definitely checking this out.
Love the chambray shirt. Good choice!
You look absolutely adorable in all of the pieces! The chambray top is totally on trend, but also a classic piece I think you'll have in your closet for a long time! It would also look really cute unbuttoned over a dress, skirt and top or pants and top! You'll be able to wear it so much! Lately, I've been wearing mine buttoned all the way up and layering short necklaces around the collar. :)
Thanks Megan and Aurelia!! And just FYI, if you sign up from the link, I'll get a referral rate! So sign up and tell your friends for a great deal! :)
Didn't realize you updated...so cute!! Such a great idea! And, um, you look amazing post partum :).
