A few days after Christmas, we loaded up the car and our two kiddos for our first trip to Orange Beach as a family of four! We opted to drive at night so the kids could sleep the whole way and we (hopefully) wouldn't have to stop. We met up with the Thomas family for some good R & R.
The weather was really chilly so we didn't want to get outside for long periods of time, unfortunately. We still had fun enjoying the beach and watching Aubrey ride his new bike.

We were pumped to enjoy the after Christmas sales at the Foley outlet mall! It was hard to stick to our budget with all the sales!
For New Year's Eve, we went to The Wharf to have some fun. They had several things set up for kids and families to enjoy-bounce houses, karaoke, live band, etc.
We took Aubrey on the ferris wheel. He jumped on it and love it! He didn't know he should be scared! :)
It was pretty to see all the lights from way up high.
The kiddos headed back to the condo with Mom and Popsicle. We were able to walk around, shop, and enjoy the live music (and crazy dancers)! We headed back in before it got to crazy. These old people wanted our sleep more than we wanted to see the new year in with a bang!
Kate enjoyed her time at the beach! She got lots of attention and snuggles.
The last day warmed up a bit so Kate and I were able to hang out at the beach. She really enjoyed being out by the ocean. Can't wait to take her back this summer!
