Another fun fall activity we took part in was the corn maze. We went with my best friend, Valerie, and her family. Everyone had a great time!
When in line to purchase our tickets, a man brought out interesting animals for people to pet...I tried to get Aubrey to stay away but he was to interested. I'm not a fan of petting zoos.
Got our wristbands! Funny how toddlers are never to keen on them.
Aubrey refused to stick his head in the scarecrow cut out. He's two and he knows shows it.
We actually took the kids into the corn maze. Once we got in there, we weren't sure that was such a smart idea. They had paths for the maze but they also had rows of corn and toddlers don't know the difference. We were scared that we were going to lose a kid. You should have seen the adults trying to keep up with these two. I]
The boys had fun running ahead, with one of the dads, and jumping out at the girls when we caught up to them. So much fun!
The boys loved chasing the chickens. The chickens did not enjoy it so much.
Claire had fun hanging out in the stroller and watching the boys get down on the farm.
We had a duck race (didn't get them in the picture).
The boys were really into this one. I think we could have just done this all night. Forget the pony rides, they just wanted to pump water all night.
Val and I always laugh at how much the boys are alike. When we met up with them that evening, we realized the boys were dressed just alike with their red shirts, black fleece, and jeans. When I got home and was looking at our pictures, I realized not only were the boys dressed alike but the dads too! Complete with pastel hats!
The cow train was hit as well. I don't know if he enjoyed the ride or being pulled by a four-wheeler more.
They wouldn't ride the pony but they would ride these guys. Yeehaw!
We were hesitant to let them jump on the big bubble but once all the big kids got off we let them go. Seth was the designated adult to supervise. I think he enjoyed it more than the boys.
Carter just wanted to roll down the bubble.
For Halloween, Aubrey was a firefighter. He was so excited about his gear. He wants to wear it/play with it everyday. He got a bullhorn, helmet, and fire extinguisher with his coat so he has lots of fun pretending to put out fires.
"wee-ooo-wee-ooo-wee-oo" There's a fire!
"pshhhh" Putting the fire out!
Our friends we went trick or treating with-Eva and Levi.
Aubrey was so funny as he kept saying, "I am a fire fighter!" or "There's a fire! wee-ooo-wee-ooo" all night.
Kate wondering what we are doing...
After trick or treating, we went to a carnival at a church where he got more candy and got to play games and jump in bounce house.
Our last stop was the fire station!
Aubrey wasn't up for sitting in the driver seat or climbing up on the truck so we just walked around it.
We had a great Halloween!
