Memorial Day 2012

Aubrey and I had a great time at our annual O'Neal family reunion/Memorial Day party in Stonewall. Seth was out of town for the weekend playing in a golf tournament with his Dad so he missed out on all the fun and good food.

Looks like fun, huh?! This shindig started way back when I was in....oh...first grade and we never had a pool. We just always sweated our tails off and stunk like a sweaty mess. Kids these days are so pampered.  :) j/k

Poor Aubs didn't have any swim attire so we went redneck style and stripped him down.

There is typically some ball played at some point in the day...

Aubrey and Juliana got a lesson in taking turns after both grabbed the bat at the same time and started screaming at the other. It got intense...like they were nose to nose screaming! It was pretty funny and not the first time they have had an encounter like that. It's probably bad that the adults usually just watch and laugh when it gets heated between those two but it's just so funny (really wish I had it on camera so they could see it when they are older). After we laughed, we did give them a lesson in sharing/taking turns.
