Feliz Navidad...part dos

For Christmas day, we were in Lake Charles this year. It was great to have most of the Thomas bunch together. We missed Scott who was working (and still is) in Oregon as a ski instructor. Pretty much as soon as we arrived, Aunt Phoebe could not wait to give her gift to Aubrey.  So, we let him open it early. It was literally a box full of fun! 

She filled this big ole box full of tissue and crayons! He really enjoyed playing in it and on it.

It was really cold and rainy while we were in LC but we managed to make it out to the park a couple times. We bundled him up and set him free. Aubrey loves climbing, sliding and swinging. He can't just stay at the toddler playground either. He's always looking for the bigger and better equipment. The boy has no fear and it stresses out this Mama! But, he is a really good and cautious climber most of the time.

This little sweatshirt was Seth's when he was Aubrey's age.

On Christmas morning, the Thomas family has a Nerf gun fight. The kids get their guns after opening their stockings and go to "wake up" their parents. This was the first year Aubrey got to partake in the madness. He was really excited at first but when darts started flying he came running into Mama's arms! Once the fight was over, he thought it was funny to get shot by the darts and would actually laugh. And so began his love of guns....

This is before the gunfight went down. Everyone was trying to locate the parents as they were MIA! See Aubrey leading the way?
