Baby Dedication

On Aubrey's birthday weekend, we had him dedicated at church. It was Sunday, May 8, his 1st birthday! It was a special day. Our preacher prayed for us and Aubrey. He also gave Seth a booklet, A Father's Guide to Blessing His Children by David Michael.

 I am so thankful for each day we get with him. Aubrey is such a blessing to our family! We pray for him and over him each day. It is such a relief to know that Aubrey is the Lord's and He holds his future. 

 "Behold, children are a gift of the Lord, the fruit of the womb is a reward." Psalm 127:3

After a wonder worship service, we had brunch at our house. We had PW's pancakes (have you had those? mmm, that's all I'm a say), breakfast casserole, and fruit.

I kept forgetting that May 8 was also Mother's Day! I felt bad not wishing more ladies a Happy Mother's day because to me it was Aubrey's first birthday!! 

I asked for one thing for Mother's day...Buttercups Cupcakes!! They are a little peace of heaven. Seth got me a dozen plus cake balls! It was a good day! 

I even shared one of my cupcakes with Aubrey...but he wasn't into it as much as I was! 

I think this was him signing "all done!" Not a big sweets fan! I guess that just means more for me! :)
