The itch..

So, we have the itch..... to do a home project. Did you think I was going to say have a baby? haha. Nope. Not yet!

There are A LOT of projects we want to tackle in our house. We have done a few things while we have been in our house. Remember this! That was the biggest project we have tackled so far.

Well, right now we want to do something in our kitchen. There is so much that could be fixed up but, there is one spot we want to start on. This corner....

We have purposefully left this wall empty with hopes of putting in a buffet (built in vs. antique piece is another ?)....

or a banquette seating area like his one...

or widening the door frame to make it a more open space into the dining room.

I am thinking of making the smaller corner a desk area/trash & recycle bin area. 

Decisions, decisions! Do we keep it an "eat-in kitchen" or do we just add more counter and storage space? Should we go for the open floor plan and just make a bigger door way? 

Or, my BIG idea, do we just rip out ALL of the kitchen and start from scratch and COMPLETELY rearrange the layout and flow of the kitchen?!
