Aubrey has made some BIG changes this month. First off, he started eating puffs. At first, he could just pick them up. Then, he learned how to actually get them to his mouth! It's amazing the things we get excited about these days!

Aubrey and Carter opening Aubrey's first Christmas present. It was a Little People nativity set. Aubrey loved it. They make good chew toys!
Aubrey has been teething for a while...like since he was 4 months old but we have yet to see a tooth pop out. I thought he had an ear infection right before Christmas so I took him to the doctor. She said he was just teething. Poor guy is chewing on anything he gets his hands on. Come on teeth!
Learning to sit up! I went to pick him up from his nap and this was how he was sitting. He was saying, "Hurry and come get me mom. Do you really need to take a picture of this?" As soon as he learned to sit up, he was pulling up! So a week later, he was standing in his crib! He also started crawling! Told ya it was a BIG month! I was NOT ready for him to be mobile!

He has been "talking" more. He says "da-da" a lot. He can also say "hey". People are always saying how alert he is. He has been staying in the nursery and doing very well. He will NEVER sleep while he is there. He got off of his wonderful sleeping habits this month due to a brief illness (I think it was a sinus infection). He woke up for the first time in the middle of the night screaming and would not go back to sleep for an hour. Poor baby! We were so glad when he was feeling better.
