2 Months!

Aubrey is growing so fast! We went for his 2 month check up this past week and he weighed 10 lbs 3 oz and was 21.5 inches. 

He began to sleep a little longer at night going  ~5 hours between his late night feeding and middle of the night feeding. He grew so much this month that he started filling out his newborn clothes and diapers! 

He loves taking a bath and is always soothed by Jack Johnson. He started to coo and smile more too. We are so excited to see him smile and "talk" to us. 

He is awake more during the day so we try to give him tummy time but he does not care for it very much. He likes to look at things and people. I think he loves his room because he always stares at the walls and enjoys being in his crib. I will leave him in his crib and be in another room and can hear him talk to himself. It is the cutest thing!!

He has been in his crib exclusively for about a week now! When we went to Fort Worth last weekend to see my sister and baby Juliana, we did not put the Pack-N-Play back up once we got home. (This was kind of hard on me). But, he has done awesome! Like I said, he loves his room and bed! I can't believe how much he has grown in such a short period of time. The changes are so fun and exciting. I feel like any day he will start walking and talking! I now understand what mom's have always said, they grow so fast!

Note: From my last post and maybe this one, it may seem or appear that everything is going great but I don't want to mislead anyone...this has been the hardest thing I have ever done. Motherhood is hard and this whole experience has flipped my world upside down (in a good way). I have a whole post on this coming soon (hopefully)!
