Kate's Baby Dedication

On Kate's birthday weekend, we had her dedicated at church. We had most of our family present since we celebrated her birthday the day before. 

For Kate's baby dedication, we simply stood before our church with our pastor stating we wished to raise up Kate in the church teaching her about Jesus and the Bible. It is also a commitment of our church and family to hold us accountable to that role and pray for us as we navigate through disciplining our children. Our also church gives each family a book, A Father's Guide to Blessing His Children by David Michael, which provides scriptures and blessings to pray over the child.

Seth and I are so thankful for the families and friends in our church who have discipled us as parents even before we had children. We are thankful for such an awesome church family that will (and has)  encourage and pray for us as we seek to live out and teach the gospel to our children.

We enjoyed having our families join us at church that day. Such a blessing to have so many love our Kate and Aubrey!
